The culture at my new gig is, different, to put it one way, from my old job. A stuffy big name international corporation yields a completely different work environment than where I am now, a small, 15 person operation in a tiny office in NYC. What's so different? Besides the fact that the office is adorned with "strange" art such as this (something that would not fly at SAIC; unconventional art is not conducive to a professional work environment, according to our work culture consultants), the "that's what she said" comments are more rampant. The range of the age of people in this office makes me one of the "older" workers (at SAIC, I was the second youngest). The people actually talk with each other! ...and the list can goes on.
