I won't go into the boring details about what's actually written on this award, but receiving it along with a $25 gift card makes me feel just a little bit bad about applying to another position elsewhere.
Actually, I went through a similar situation as you. I applied for another position, got an interview, was asked for a second interview. Now there's this new machine I was asked to work on and a new person I'm training so it made me reconsider pursuing that second interview because i'm the only native english speaker in the department. So I actually think things are looking up at work :-).
I'm definitely going through alot of the same thing that you just mentioned. I've been training on procedures that only I know how to do. We have a couple of new people, but it'll take them months to learn everything I know, so it would only reflect badly if I just straight up left.
