Now I'm no A's fan, and I am even less of a fan of seeing the A's beat the Giants (you win this time, Oakland!), but what I am a big fan of is a beer and meat binge pre-game party.
I'd say we're pretty sports driven up here. Unfortunately, our teams don't have the level of success the SoCal teams do (the Lakers clearly dominate the Warriors, the Dodgers make it back to the playoffs more often than any Bay Area teams do and oh yeah, in 2002 the Angels beat the Giants in the World Series), and it doesn't help that the San Jose Sharks (hockey team) were just eliminated from the playoffs today.
But that doesn't affect my love for my NorCal teams (at least, the ones from San Francisco).
when you said "A"s I thought you meant Angels but your team is called the Athletics. is norcal very sports driven like socal?

dude, no matter what, the clippers will always be worse than any bay area sports franchise. always.
