Things like this only happen once in a blue moon:
-I get a raise
-I hear from my brother
-I see my sister
-I find time to catch up on 30 Rock
-a blue moon
-I have an evening to myself
-the Giants make the playoffs
...so that last item being so, City Hall in San Francisco has been aptly lit orange to celebrate our success in the the MLB world as of late. While it was a shame we lost tonight, it's all good. We've already made it further than anyone expected us to, so let's enjoy the ride while we can since the last time we made the playoffs, Barry Bonds was still playing, the Niners had a winning record, and I was a sophomore in high school who still wore silver chains with big dragon pennants on it.
Yes, it's true. I was awesome back then.
