Maxwell - Cold Very few artists can enjoy moderate success, go on hiatus for about 10 or so years, and come back with music whose quality is just as good or even better than what made them successful in the first place. (Eminem did a fairly good job with this despite the fact that thanks to the like of Lady Gaga, his shock value has greatly fallen...on the other end of the spectrum, Boys 2 Men did not age well)
Though I'd have to say that there were only a few standout hits on Maxwell's newest 2009 album, Black Summer's Night, I've still got say that this pioneer of 90's neo-soul has still got it.
