Signed up to volunteer at the Berlin and Beyond Film Festival tonight at the Castro Theatre. While I was expecting to be performing some menial job like cleaning up the leftover trash left in the theater seats by patrons (a job I did eventually end up doing), I did manage to work the theater during the Q&A sessions and was able to sit in on a few films.
One of the shorts I watched, A Lost and Found Box of Human Sensation had a whole 2 minute long sequence involving how the main character did nothing but "eat, sleep, work, and repeat" for a year. Guess you can imagine how I've related.
