The day started off with a bottomless champagne brunch at
Silks Restaurant in the Mandarin Oriental in San Francisco. Thanks to a coupon from the Gilt Group, I was able to enjoy a nice meal and an endless supply of champagne and fruit.
Needing a way to walk off a buzz at 1pm, next decided to ride one of those
historic street cars they run in San Francisco, which in turn helped me knock out one more route on my
attempt to ride the streetcar lines throughout the city.
Last stop was at the Castro. T'was an unseasonally warm (yes, warm is "unseasonal" for summer in San Francisco) day here in the city, so one last beer on a restaurant patio seemed appropriate.
